What Is an Extra Booster?
In the One Piece Card Game, Extra Boosters (EB) are smaller, themed sets released between the main OP booster sets. Instead of following one story arc, an Extra Booster is built around a concept. For EB-05 the concept is simple: the series' heroines take centre stage. Bandai highlights heroine illustrations drawn in a variety of different art styles, which makes this set especially attractive to collectors who chase character art, while still offering new Leaders and cards for players.
EB-05 Rarity Breakdown
According to Bandai's official product page, EB-05's 77 card types break down as follows:
- Leader (L): 7 types
- Common (C): 29 types
- Rare (R): 21 types
- Super Rare (SR): 9 types
- Secret Rare (SEC): 1 type
- Special (SP): 8 types
- DON!! cards: 2 types
Seven Leaders is a lot for a 77-card set, so EB-05 gives players several new deck options. With only one Secret Rare in the set, that SEC (Nami, EB05-061) is the single rarest regular card in EB-05. Cards are randomly inserted, and Bandai does not publish official pull rates.
EB-05 Secret Rare: Nami (EB05-061)
Bandai's official card list confirms the one and only Secret Rare in EB-05: EB05-061 Nami, a Red character card, which also comes in a parallel version. As the only SEC in the set, the Nami Secret Rare and its parallel are the top regular chase cards of Heroines Edition Vol.2.
The New Leader: Nico Robin (EB05-010)
The headline card of EB-05 is the new Nico Robin Leader (EB05-010), a Green/Yellow Leader according to the official card list. Bandai describes her as a Leader that fights using characters with the Wisdom (知) attribute, so expect Robin decks to be built around Wisdom-attribute characters. The official card list shows the Leader in three versions:
- Regular Leader (EB05-010)
- Two parallel / alternate-art Leaders (EB05-010 parallels)
Robin is one of the most popular Straw Hats with collectors, so all three versions should see strong demand.
All 7 EB-05 Leaders
Bandai's official card list shows all seven Leader cards included in EB-05: the brand-new Nico Robin Leader plus six heroine Leaders returning from earlier sets, which appear in EB-05 as parallel versions.
- EB05-010: Nico Robin (new Leader, Green/Yellow)

- OP11-022: Shirahoshi

EB-05 SP Cards: All 8 Special-Design Heroines
EB-05 includes specially designed SP (Special) cards, a premium treatment applied to heroine cards, including some that first appeared in earlier sets. Bandai's official card list confirms all eight EB-05 SP cards:
Miss Buckingham Stussy#EB05-006 · SP
Nico Robin#EB05-016 · SP
Vinsmoke Reiju#EB05-031 · SP
Nami#OP01-016 · SP
Perona#OP14-033 · SP
Gerd#OP17-081 · SP
Charlotte Pudding#OP17-109 · SP
Boa Hancock#ST17-004 · SP
SP cards are among the hardest pulls in any One Piece Card Game set, and heroine SPs, especially Boa Hancock, are consistently popular with collectors.
Kentaro Yabuki Guest-Artist Parallel: Nami (EB05-055)
One of EB-05's most talked-about inclusions is a parallel card illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki, the manga artist behind To Love Ru. The card is EB05-055 Nami, a Super Rare that the official card list shows in a regular version plus three parallel versions, one of which is Yabuki's specially drawn parallel. Guest-artist parallels are rare in the One Piece Card Game, which makes this one a likely chase card for collectors and fans of Yabuki's work.
ONE PIECE Heroines Precious Box
To celebrate the release, Bandai also released the ONE PIECE HEROINES PRECIOUS BOX in Japan on October 31, 2026. Contents:
- 1 × EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol.2 booster box
- 1 × special storage box
- 70 × special card sleeves
- Special DON!! cards (each set includes either the regular or parallel version)
The Precious Box is sold only through official ONE PIECE Card Game authorized stores in Japan, so quantities are very limited.
EB-05 vs. EB-03: Heroines Edition Vol.1 vs. Vol.2
EB-03 was the first Heroines Edition and introduced the idea of a heroine-only Extra Booster. EB-05 continues the series with a new Nico Robin Leader, a Nami Secret Rare, new SP heroines and a guest-artist parallel. If you're building a Heroines collection, owning both volumes sealed is a natural pairing.
Japanese vs. English EB-05
The English version of EB-05 released on October 30, 2026 and the Japanese version on October 31, 2026. Many collectors prefer the Japanese version for its print quality and card stock, and Japanese copies of popular cards, particularly SPs, parallels and alternate-art Leaders, are often in high demand. Japanese cards are tournament-legal in Japanese-language events, so check your local organizer's rules if you plan to play.
EB-05 Release Events in Japan
Bandai is running official EB-05 release commemoration events in Japan, including a separate event limited to elementary and junior-high school students. The main release event runs at official shops across Japan from October 31 to November 15, 2026 (schedules vary by store):
- Format: Standard Regulation
- Participation gift: Promotion Pack Vol.10
- Players who open an EB-05 pack at the event and pull a Super Rare, Secret Rare, SP, parallel or super parallel card receive a commemorative DON!! card featuring Monkey.D.Luffy or Roronoa Zoro (limited quantities)
