Aura Seeker Release Date
The official Pokémon Card Game website confirms that Aura Seeker releases in Japan on Friday, November 27, 2026.
Mega Z ex: The Big New Cards
Aura Seeker's official page puts three new Mega Z ex Pokémon front and centre. These are the headline cards of the set.
Mega Lucario Z ex (057)
The star of the set. Mega Lucario Z ex has the Ability Aura Seeker (ハドウシーカー), which lets you search your deck for a Supporter card and put it into your hand, and an attack that deals big damage to Pokémon ex. Lucario is one of the most popular Pokémon with collectors, so expect its special-art versions to be among the most wanted cards in the set.
Mega Absol Z ex (030)
Mega Absol Z ex attacks for 160 damage, and that attack stops your opponent from playing Special Energy and Stadium cards from their hand during their next turn.
Mega Garchomp Z ex (067)
Mega Garchomp Z ex deals 30 damage for each Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile, so it rewards Dragon-type decks.
Crasher Wake SAR by Tetsuo Hara (113/078)
The biggest new reveal for Aura Seeker is a Special Art Rare (SAR) version of the Crasher Wake Supporter card (マキシの熱血), numbered 113/078 and illustrated by legendary manga artist Tetsuo Hara, the artist behind Fist of the North Star. Crasher Wake is the Pastoria City Gym Leader and a pro wrestler, and Hara's art shows him charging forward surrounded by after-images of his hands. The official Pokémon Card Game site also published an interview with Hara about the card. Hara previously illustrated the Palafin ex card in the Terastal Festival ex high-class pack.
The regular Crasher Wake Supporter is card 076: you choose 1 of your Water Pokémon in play and shuffle it and all attached cards back into your deck.
New Deck Ideas Revealed
Crasher Wake Water deck
- 020 Floatzel ex: its attack lets you reveal any number of Crasher Wake cards from your hand and does 100 more damage for each one.
- 018 Quagsire: its attack does 140 damage for just 1 Water Energy if you reveal a Crasher Wake card from your hand.
- 076 Crasher Wake Supporter (マキシの熱血)
Hawlucha "Guts Fight" deck
- 046 Hawlucha: its Ability reduces the Energy needed for Pokémon attacks named ガッツファイト.
- 039 Machamp: with 3 Hawlucha in play, its ガッツファイト attack does 250 damage for 1 Fighting Energy.
- 040 Hitmontop: with 2 Hawlucha in play, its ガッツファイト attack needs no Energy.
Aura Seeker Card List: Revealed Cards
These 33 cards are confirmed on the official Aura Seeker page, with their card numbers. The complete set list (all /078 cards plus every secret rare) will be added here once it is officially published.
